Is this what happens to you when you age?

Do you forgo all colour choices and just (albeit unknowingly) opt for a slightly less repulsive shade of puke green? I already have a pretty monochromatic wardrobe, so I guess I'm screwed. However this meditation on age could be an overgeneralized attempt to understand the aging population -- as these two (for instance) could have just been strolling out of an intense church band practice.

Those Damn Parisians

This is what I stumbled upon while walking to work this morning. I would like to know how this whole baguette came to dwell curbside. A latenight carb attack, defeated? Some comment on the ironic eco-friendliness of littering with bread? The wreckless littering of a person who had just discovered they had celiac?

Curious.

Whole baguette found on the streets. Untouched?

I want to write something about this house

This is a house that is going under construction right by my work. Looks like there is a story there.

Can't you just picture a little ghost somewhere in there?

A detailed sign

I like how this illustrates the fallout of disobeying the sign.

Chew on this.

Kas and I found these at a conv store. Can you believe these "naturally" flavoured balls?

Some Vegas

I'm writing a piece about Vegas, so I don't want to give it all away here, but if it doesn't get picked up, i'll post later. In the meantime, here are some images from our adventure. When Kasey and I look at them, we play this song in our heads.

Work(man) feet (FEAT FEET/ STRAY SHOES)

The feet of Hawksley Workman. He's sexy. His feet, not so much. But then again, are feet even sexy? No.

"Healthy, young Beethovens"

I miss the safety of backpacks, and lecture seats that break my ass, and having time to scour the stacks for novelty. Now is the time to replace backpacks with laptop cases, plastic seats with office chairs, and look for something new from a source more literal...unless I apply to Grad. school...

Youth

--> Water is best when room temperature
--> Why do snow ploughs have blue lights?
--> Moving to a beach this summer. Definitely happening. Happening because I just put it in writting.
--> Fake nails would be stellar.
--> Gossip Girl rules. Yep, I just wrote that too
--> School is overrated, but so is Experience
--> "End of the Roll" called my house the other day. There is something in that. and this is the thought I thought: Is it not enough to have a passion for beauty, elevate it, and let it be? Why must there always be a rule or reason; and end to the road. Exist in wonder, and only reach an end to the roll -- a propulsion to keep turning and revealing yourself/the beauty.

I am not young.

My soul could tell you about snowshoeing up a hill/ when roads were dirt/ cars were peddles/ planes a laugh/ I am young/ skin like rubber/ In windows draping/ looking out
