Phone rings, 9am, waking me up, weather: slightly dark, about to rain>>
mother: Andrea?
A: yeah
mother: is it dark there?
A: yeah, why?
mother: there are tornado warnings.
A: what? (I'm wondering if this is actually happening)
mother: yeah, that's what people at work were talking about (I'm seeing a trend here now)
A: well it's not even raining.
mother: don't let the dogs outside, the last thing I need is for one of them to blow away.
A: I can see how that might be an inconvenience
