A certain skin disease (circled) I call "balloon disease" has plagued my wrist for the past 4 weeks. It has faded, but all-in-all persists.
Some possible theories from family and friends include: 1) a rash, 2) allergies, 3) ring-worm, 4) psoriasis, 5) a bug bite. At first glance, a lot of people think it is a burn (but I would remember that one happening).
I went to the walk-in clinic two weeks ago to find out what it was. The result? Waiting two hours for my doctor to tell me that it was probably a rash or an allergic reaction or a bug bite. He told me if it was still there in two weeks, to come back. Ass.
So, I went to the professionals -- The Supremo Skinteam. They put a Scanned Proximity Force Microscope up to my skin rash and found what the rash looked like at 3 trillion times magnitude (pictured). They figured it was side effects from an emotionally traumatic birthday when I was a child (my birthday was exactly 4 weeks ago). The emotions have now surfaced in the form of a common birthday accessory. The Supremo team recommend I lay off cheap vanilla cake and primary colours.
