Yesterday, Kasey and I discovered the brilliance that is BET's "the Boot" -- a dating reality show in which four individuals go on dates with each other, set challenges, and then give 2 persons "the boot" until two remain.
This is how one of the challenges went:
There were two girls (Maria and Kay) and two guys (Brookshire and Shamar).
Maria asks Brookshire and Shamar to ask her some questions and then compose a love song for her on the spot. Brookshire's first question was, "What do you use to wipe yourself?" (for real) and Shamar asked, "how many men have you slept with?" After Maria told Shamar "two", he says off camera, "That's a damn lie!" theretofore, his ballad starts off with these sweet lines: "You said you fucked two guys, but after me, you be fucking three."
After the singing challenge, Brookshire got "booted" and then the two girls go on seperate dinners with Shamar. Kay ended up winning to Maria because she agreed to give Shamar a lap dance in the middle of a crowded restaurant (and subsequently exposed her turkey to the camera as I'm pretty sure the "skirt" she was wearing was sold as a long shirt at retail).
