It was so perfect for the moment I wanted to cry (the song is kind of about love which didn't really apply here, but all that was perfect was the phrase "wouldn't it be nice"). And so as I got home, I went on the computer and Googled the lyrics so I could read the song. I thought the lyrics would cheer me up. And they did. But I got distracted by the two advertisements for WSIB (workplace safety and training board) that the lyrics were squished between. The following are what I saw:
Two workers dead on the ground impaled by work place objects and the saying "a lack of training, can KILL." They are also the ones behind that god-awful commercial in which that cook slips and falls with a large pot of boiling water and screams while she is burning on the floor. thanks WSIB. Thanks so much for ruining my attempt at cheer. As a result, the beach boys didn't work. But here are the lyrics. maybe they will cheer you:
