1) The loss of a public conscious. Why are we suddenly obsessed with celebrity death? Why are magazines using it for sales? I.e. a lot of rumours about certain celebrities dying. Most recently the Zach Braff trending topic on twitter and the rumour that he died. WTF people. Maybe this is me thinking the worst but was the Rick Astley death rumour a ploy for publicity? In this dragon cage, I wouldn't put it past a PR team. Since Michael Jackson's death, we' ve had one celebrity death/ month. This isn't some sort of curse, it's just that we are capitalizing on the exploitation. A tribute or memorial is one thing, but...
