Being holed up in your house because of large motherfucker snow drifts and piles is no fun. Although it looks gorgeous outside, the car sticking cold is a big nerd and downer for a girl pimping a beige Camry.
There is always the continuous reel of warm-hearted B list Christmas movies to entertain. My favorites? The Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, White Christmas, Elf and the Rudolph story with the wooden puppets.
I have never seen Black Christmas though. Apparently shot in Toronto, it is a Can classic that is apparently scary as hell. I don't think i want to see it when i'm stuck in my house. But then again, no psycho killer is gonna go outside in this weather. 1) psycho killers always go to the place they are going to kill on foot, (impossible in these weather conditions, 2) if they were crazy enough to walk over to my house in 3 feet of snow, they would have to remove snow pants, scarves, jackets etc. for optimal hiding and running purposes. -- unless of course i believe in the supernatural, and by into that killer snowman flick -- Jack Frost (what do you think they use for this frowning eyebrows?)
